Eyes of the Skin
with Noora Västinen (2019)

Eyes of the Skin is a co-devised and co-facilitated workshop with Noora Västinen in collaboration with Iiris Keskus. It took place across 14 months in 2019 and 2020 in Finland, in the way of co-facilitated monthly dance improvisation workshops designed for youngsters with sight impairments. Various themes were explored around sensory play, touch, and embodied movement tasks. Guest artists Elina Sarno, Sami Kekalainen and Vea Vainio also contributed to selected sessions, to share their expertise and teachings with the workshop participants.
